What does it mean that Loamio is one connected system?
Patrons, parcels, water rights, shares, orders, deliveries, allocation periods, curtailment, assessments, invoices and payments live in one place. When a ditch rider ends a delivery, Loamio posts its water to the patron's ledger and assessment in the same step.
Can ditch riders work without a signal?
Open your route before heading out. Record delivery activity when signal drops, then sync when you're connected again. Ditch riders use Loamio in their phone's browser and can add it to the home screen; they tap Start delivery and End delivery and confirm the cfs reading.
How hard is it to get started?
Send us your spreadsheets of patrons, parcels, shares and water rights. Loamio's import suggests which column goes where, and nothing is imported until it is reviewed and confirmed. Staff and patrons get an emailed invitation and set their own password.
Is our data locked in?
No. Patrons, parcels, assessments, billing, and deliveries can be exported to CSV. There are no per-user or per-patron fees and no setup fees.
Does Loamio tell patrons how to farm?
No. Loamio administers water — orders, deliveries, shares, billing — and deliberately stays out of crop and agronomy advice. It records each water right's priority date, lists rights in priority order, and keeps each patron's shares in a ledger. The district owns its rules.
