Pricing questions

Pricing questions, answered.

Who owns the data?

Your district does. The shareholders, share counts, water orders, gate readings, assessments, and billing entries you put into Loamio are your records. We will never sell, license, or share your district's records with another party, and you can export them to CSV at any time.

How does the ditchrider app work when there's no cell signal?

The field app is offline-first. Riders mark deliveries, skips, and notes at the headgate with no signal, and the changes sync automatically when the device is back in range — so the office sees field updates within minutes of the rider getting service again.

Can we export our records?

Yes. Your shareholders, ledger, orders, and billing history belong to your district and can be exported to CSV at any time, so your records are never locked in.

How is the data secured?

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, each district's records are isolated from every other tenant, and access is role-based. Automated backups run on AWS.

Where is the data hosted?

Loamio runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States (currently the us-east-1 region in Northern Virginia), with automated backups.

How do patron payments work?

Loamio uses Stripe end-to-end. Your district collects assessments and water-order charges from shareholders by ACH, card, or invoice through your connected Stripe account, and every payment is reconciled automatically against the ledger. Standard Stripe processing fees are passed through at cost.

Do you migrate our existing records?

Yes. Onboarding migrates your shareholders, shares, orders, and balances from your current system or spreadsheets, with shares and balances reconciled before go-live so day one in Loamio matches the last entry in your old records.

Does pricing depend on the number of shareholders?

No. Tiers are based on the size and complexity of your operation, not a per-shareholder count. A district with 200 shareholders and one with 2,000 on the same tier pay the same monthly price.

What happens if we outgrow a tier?

There are no overage charges. If your operation grows into multi-division territory or needs District-level features, we move you to the right tier — you are never surprised by a usage bill.

Can we pay annually instead of monthly?

Yes. Annual billing is available on request. The prices shown are the standard monthly rates.

What payment methods do you accept?

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe by card or ACH. For patron billing, your district collects from shareholders by ACH, card, or invoice through your connected Stripe account.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Patrons and ditch riders join free once their district administrator adds them. If your district isn't in Loamio yet, book a walk-through — we'll set your district up and start a 14-day free trial with no card on file.

Can we cancel?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month unless you choose annual billing, and you can export your data to CSV at any time, so your records are never locked in.
